No Oppression Org.NOO — Lebanon

About the organization

An organization built on a single word: No

“No” to oppression — and “yes” to everything that follows refusing it: dignity, second chances, and a way back into society.

No Oppression Organization was born in Kesserwan — Ein al Rihana, out of a simple conviction: a person who has served their sentence has paid their debt, and leaving them alone outside the walls is a new injustice. A society that shuts its doors on the released pushes them back toward the very place no one wants them to return to.

We stand with everyone touched by oppression, whatever form it takes. Our daily work is concrete: bail paid for detainees who could not afford the price of their freedom — people who walked out because someone stood with them — self-confidence recovered through learning and training, health protected through awareness and follow-up, and dignity restored through a job and a safe roof.

Our services are open to all who need them, and our work is grounded in confidentiality and respect — without discrimination and without judgment.

Our mission

To accompany released prisoners and juveniles from the moment of release to full reintegration into society — through rehabilitation, training and education, health and social care, shelter and job placement.

Our vision

A society where no one is defined by their past mistakes, but by their ability to begin again — a society without oppression.

About the organization

Our values

01

Dignity

Every service we offer begins with respect for the person — and ends there too.

02

Justice

Punishment ends when the sentence ends; what follows is a full right to life.

03

Compassion without judgment

We never ask anyone to justify their past to deserve our help.

04

Second chances

We believe new beginnings are possible — and we work to make them available.
